Blue Ridge Mountain Resort is CLOSED for the 2024/2025 season. It was a great season, with awesome conditions! Thanks to a great group that organized our SLOPE SNOW DOWN on March 23, 2025 we had a blast finishing out the season with a perfect day!
Many MANY thanks to our great group of volunteers who ran the hill this season! They made the hill a success and there is no way it would have been what it was without them!
We as the BRMR board would love to have volunteers return for the coming 2025/2026 season and look forward to getting many more volunteers to participate and help us run the hill. It really is a good time helping out and seeing all the smiling faces. We have positions for any skill level to help with including, but not limited to: ticket sales, rentals, kitchen, loading/unloading assistant, snow cat operator, bunny hill lift operator, ski patrol/first aid.

Located in a natural, north facing bowl on the Buffalo Head Hills, Blue Ridge Mountain Resort first opened for the 2021/22 season.
The concept to develop a ski hill in the region started around 2000, and in 2017 Mackenzie Ski Hill Society was formed and the development of a new ski facility really started. It took a while, but we found the biggest hills and longest slopes and set about turning them into a ski hill.
We are continually making improvements to the hill and facilities, so keep coming back year after year and see the improvements!
